2013 Chateau Rauzan Gassies Margaux Grand Cru Classe
BORDEAUX 2013 WRITE OFF #8
In my 20 years of tasting Bordeaux wines, I have never come across a vintage as bad as 2013. This vintage apparently lacked tannins and structure to last a decade, not to mention that there's no way it can survive for multiple vintages.
However for Margaux appellation it didn't do too badly, surprisingly this was doing much better than her sibling Rauzan Segla. Nose of cooked fruits, forward, fruity and acidic. Content was decent, sweet, pleasant, rich, fruity, slightly dry.
