2013 Croizet Bages Pauillac
BORDEAUX PAUILLAC 2013 REPORT #2
So far most appellations I have reported were disappointing, as Bordeaux 2013 wines lacked structure, complexity and tannins. Can only serve the wines for early drinking as there's no aging capability.
I didn't get to taste a lot of Pauillac, of the 2 that I tasted, I was again disappointed. Extremely muted nose, took a while to sniff out light red fruits and woody oak. Palate was creamy (probably from the oak), light, cherry, very poorly made, quite hopeless.
