BORDEAUX SAUTERNES 2013 REPORT #1
So far most appellations I have reported were disappointing, as Bordeaux 2013 wines lacked structure, complexity and tannins. Can only serve the wines for early drinking as there's no aging capability.
I didn't get to taste a lot of Sauternes, this was the only 2013 I tasted. Nose of huge pineapple and slight apricot. Body was light, acidic and predominantly pineapple. It doesn't have the richness and creaminess character from a good vintage. Was not impressed.
