2013 La Crema Russian River Valley Chardonnay
OLD WORLD
I'm not a big fan of new world wines, particularly when it comes to white. I still feel that old world whites have a lot more sophistication compared to new world whites. Don't let the fruitiness of new world whites fool you, it was attractive only for the first few seconds.
Nose was funky, a bit hospital medicine and pharmacy smell, although quite fruity. Content again very new world, extra load of fruits mingled with clinical taste, although decent length and depth.
