In my 20 years of tasting Bordeaux, this was perhaps the worst vintage in my memory since 1996. This vintage lacked structure and tannins to make wines last for decades like the past vintages, it was made to last perhaps less than a decade for the average label. So, don't invest in this vintage! This bottle was an exception; very deep nose, red fruits and rich. Very forward body that's ready to drink any moment, pleasant, easy, mellow. The wine lacked complexity though.
