2013 Louis Jadot Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume
SURPRISED
In an experimental blind tasting of supermarket bought Chablis, including Pattes Loup, Joseph Drouhin and Verget (we sell them but not in supermarket), we had a surprise winner, mind you it's not the Verget we represent, showing that we're not bias.
From a bad score of 3* to 4.5*, the evolution was astonishing. Started with wood chip nose, bitter lemon skin and sulphur. Palate was dry, flavorless and diluted initially. Took 20 min to wake up to taste smooth butter and charm. Impressive juice.
