2013 Marc Kreydenweiss Andlau Riesling Alsace
MARC KREYDERWEISS #1
I tasted 4 labels from this producer, mostly slightly above average performance, although I found the Pinot Gris very interesting and a league above other producers. Surprised from a relatively unknown producer from Alsace.
This Riesling had a dry flower nose, tending towards potpourri, quite a surprise for Riesling.
Unfortunately the palate was a bit disappointing: very dry, acidic, slightly woody and lacked flavor, quite flat.
