2013 Roques Reserva Dao
Perhaps it takes a Reserva that's aged in oak barrel for 15 months to give it the additional flavor. This was exactly what was done to this label. Nose of strong fruit and I can feel the weight too. Palate was extremely fruity, very dry, slightly oaky, I guess the barrel does add an additional dimension to the wine, but it doesn't charm me. Not my type of wine.
