MY FIRST SOUTH AFRICA PINOT NOIR Was invited to a trade tasting, randomly tried some wines. Chanced upon this South African, so just had a sip. Extremely young nose and was very surprised to hear that it was a 100% Pinot Noir grape type. Relatively dense on the body, sweet, slightly rough edges, simple and lacks any complexity, short finishing but frankly not a bad effort from the Southern Hemisphere.
