Overall, Bordeaux 2013 was an extremely disappointing vintage, the whites were not doing any better despite some reports claimed it otherwise. I report with no strings attached, nor any vested interests.
A really star vineyard that produced decent wines even during lousy vintage. Very typical SHL nose with forest freshness, floral, wood and slight lemon. Palate was less exciting, a bit stoned and dull, doesn't excite me despite being rich, heavy and woody. Very ready, no grip.
