2014 Chateau Siran Margaux
ANNULLED
This was the first wine I tried during an event I attended last weekend. Not quite familiar with this Chateau from Margaux, but was told that they are Cru Bourgeois, and was 1 out of 9 to be part of the 2003 Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnels that eventually got annulled.
The nose showed hints of black currant, spice, and pepper but still top young and closed that most of what I smelled and tasted were overpowered by alcohol. The structure is evident with good acidity and tannin. Still needs time to age
