2014 Dark Horse Sauvignon Blanc
AMERICAN SAVIGNON BLANC ... I'm in NYC now, so naturally have to drink American wines. Nose of this white almost fooled me as a French with very mild fruity nose, probably Loire Valley. But the palette was overly big, fruity and chunky. Virtually lacks finesse nor elegance, it's sheer power and muscles, so typical of American styles. I'd be sure to much prefer French Savignon Blancs.
