2014 Esporao Reserva Tinto
MASSIVE
A blend of local varieties and Cabernet Sauvignon, nose was quite easy with light berries, fruity and lively.
But the moment I took a sip, I was taken aback by the massive tannins, not just a supporting backbone but frontline attention grabbing feature! As a result, bitterness showed up as well. Decent length, rich and big wine, will probably take a decade to tone down. I gave it 3.5 stars as I find the flavor somehow lacking and slightly disappointing.
