2014 Francoise et Stephane Medoc
2014 ENCOUNTER
Over a trade wine tasting, I had the pleasure to drink some 2012 and 2014. This was my first encounter with Bordeaux 2014, I'm in general happy with the quality.
This young Medoc wine possessed very fruity, very green nose. Needless to say, they smelled young and slightly smoky.
I correctly guessed this as a left bank wine (all tasted blind). Still young, acidic, fruity but sharp, will definitely improve over time with fruits surfacing very well in the glass.
