2014 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Pessac Leognan
RELIABILITY
I have been paying attention to this label since 2009, and I must say it produced one of the most consistent second wine with it's own character, perhaps Les Forts de Latour was the most consistent second label, I'd boldly declare Le Petit Haut Lafitte as the runner up of consistency!
Fresh berries encapsulated my nose upon a whiff, mainly red fruits dominated. Palate was very consistent and in line with past vintages. My first instinct was freshly squeezed berry juice, really a great wine!
