2014 Markus Molitor Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese
GERMAN RIESLING
I don't drink enough German Riesling to qualify for judgement of the quality. This was one of the rare few that I enjoyed. I'm more exposed to Alsace Riesling though.
Strong perfumed bouquet along with pineapple, the tropical fruits reminded me of typical Alsace Riesling. Even though the palate was rich, it was elegant too. Sharp and young, I felt that it had a lot of potential, perhaps another 10+ years, before reaching it's potential.
