2014 Vale Aldeia Brut Natural

Before I go away, I was pulled back by the winemaker to taste his latest creative champagne Brut Natural , in other words it has zero sugar, really suitable for diabetes patients. I'm not exposed to such wine so I was eager to try it out.
Almost a muted flat nose, smelled a bit funny though, but not within my description. The content was sweet at the front end but turned bitter on the finishing, the champagne was almost tasteless except for the bubbles.
