2014 Verget Guffens Bien Entendu Indeed Grande Trilogie
THREE IS A CROWD
This wine is a combination of Rousanne, Chardonnay, and Viognier and yet I guessed this as purely Viognier wine. It seemed one dimensional to me that I was shocked when it was revealed to be the Trilogie.
The nose was big that smelled of pear, with a hint of smoke. But the palate was flat, dull, with little acidity that turned gunpowder thereafter. There is always space to learn and experience something new.
