PALATE CLEANSER
First time ever, I have come across a white burgundy that acted as a palate cleanser, let me walk you through. It was a fragrant nose to start off. Palate wasn't a big wine, somehow very fruit driven, predominantly jackfruit. I paired it with deep fried fish skin, wine overruled my dish. Next come steam oyster, again left no taste to my oyster after a sip of the wine. Lastly even deep fried salted egg yolk crab couldn't pull through! I'm going to try Sichuan spice and numb next week!
