2015 Albert Mann Alsace Grand Cru Schlossberg Riesling
QUALITY GRAND CRU
First time I tasted these Alsace wines from Albert Mann, whom I think makes very decent wines and potential to catch up with other good makers in Alsace. This label isn't available in Singapore unfortunately. I was privileged to taste it.
Nose was slightly clinical. Surprisingly steely and mineral on the palate which was not common for Rieslings. I liked the substantial substance and weight of this wine, showed that the potential is definitely there. Too young for now, wait 5 10 years.
