2015 Bernard Van Berg Le Fourneau Blanc
I’m not familiar with this wine and the maker at all, thus my review is definitely unbiased :) Nose was quite funky, with slight smoke, tar and stony character. Palate wise, I was convinced it was nowhere near burgundy level. Sweetness, slightly tropical fruit style, very light and elegant. Not a style that I can easily recognize, so I was happy this was something new that I have never come across!
