2015 Chateau Haut Reys Graves
SPOILING THE APPELLATION
I don’t like to condemn Bordeaux wines as I have an emotional attachment to it, but I have to be frank. This Graves wine was the most un Graves style that I’ve ever come across. If you want to slap a precise appellation, I would expect some representative characters of the appellation, this label has none. No earthly nose, more like a grape juice to me. No earthly character of Graves on the palate, more like a diluted and thin soup, totally un Graves like. Winemaker, please!
