I was served blind for this bottle, everyone wanted to hearmy opinion on this wine. My initial comment was horribly off. Bouquet of fruity grapes, palate as well with tons of very fruity flavor with a bit of grassy character, so I jumped to conclusion it was a new world blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Way off...
Revisit an hour later, the nose was burned butter and popcorn. Wine was thick and lush, with very good complexity. It’s tough to give quick answer for good French wines.
