ALMOST A GRAND CRU
I used to believe that Leflaive produced the best Pucelles, but after I encountered Henri Boillot’s Pucelles, I think the choice was obvious, Boillot’s Pucelles was at an exceptional level.
This 2015 was really a great vintage. The bouquet ? was slowly evolving lemon fruits, plus a mix of autumn and spring flowers. A sip and I fell in love with the content, very fruit driven, big but not loud, with great complex layers, and great depth. Easily one of the best 1er Cru nearing GC level!
