After drinking quite a few average Napa Valley’s Cabernet Sauvignon, I realize there’s a trend to these wines; they are fairly approachable when young, and opened up fairly quickly once properly decanted. This Oberon is no difference, initially tight and tannic and green, all it took was 20 mins to open up, very smooth and easy drinking, just no complexity.
