Can you believe this Chassagne Montrachet wine, rightfully a village level, had a wax capsule on it? I really was shocked. Nose of typical floral fragrance. Content wasn’t quite impressive, juice was thicker than most white burgundies, although the good fruits was the saving grace for this bottle, although lacked acidity.
