2015 Verget Syrah Guffens Au Sud
FRUITY
I have to admit Guffens wasn't a red producer, he's a white burgundy winemaker. However, even though this wine didn't taste like a top growth, it didn't end up badly.
Nose of slightly cheap wine nose. Palate was almost the same, extremely fruity, didn't taste like a Syrah at all, more like a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, very friendly and approachable. Not a bad effort, at least it was much better than those garbage served in Singapore Airlines!
