Tasted blind. No matter what I didn’t expect this to be a Grand Cru. It looked like Gisselbrecht was not capable of producing Gewurstraminer grape varietal. Nose of enormous tropical fruits, primarily freshly cut pineapple, morphed into smoke later. Palate was both extremely fruity and sweet, ultra bold and forward, mainly sweet lychee and pineapple.
