SWEETNESS
This was a 100% Grenache grape varietal, was a surprise to me that Grenache actually produced such a sweet taste almost like a port. I would disagree with the producer that this was a demi sec, more like a sweet wind which contained 45g/l of residual sugar. However, apart from the sweetness, there’s nothing else to talk about as the content was extremely simple. I was told by the winemaker that they sell this wine extremely well in China. I can understand the lack of knowledge for the Chinese.
