2016 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
CLOUD ZERO
I was refused to peep at the label till I judged the glass content. Meanwhile someone tried to misled me by saying it was a popular new world Chardonnay. A whiff and I wholeheartedly disagreed, as the greenness of the nose was definitely pointing to Sauvignon Blanc.
I double confirmed with the palate, extremely sharp acidity and the lack of obvious fruits (mainly masked by the acidity). I wasn't surprised to see this as Cloudy Bay, but really belonged to supermarket wine and no more.
