LEEK PAIRING
Not an easy pairing of wines with leeks, but the one starred Michelin chef Jeremy at Audace did a great job for this pairing by choosing a Sancerre from Loire Valley.
This Sancerre was initially lean and thin, with heavily lime influence. The slightly smoked and barbecue leek with a tinge of sour cream somehow worked flawlessly with the Sancerre, and the limey taste suddenly disappeared! And guess what showed up? Butter taste. Great pairing!
