2016 DeGuisti Orgoglio Extra Dry
EXTRA DRY?
I had this Prosecco for a spicy dish tonight, thinking it was an extra dry sparkling, should go well with my spicy fish dish.
A sip and I almost spit out the sparkling wine! It wasn't extra dry, was so sweet that I almost called it Moscato d'Asti! Come on winemaker, do you ever benchmark the sweetness with other sparkling, or measured your sugar level before declaring it extra dry?
I relooked at the label again, perhaps the winemaker called it Extra Dry, a name? God knows, but no thanks.
