2016 Domaine du Chardonnay Chablis
RIPE CHABLIS PAIRING
Was having lunch at Audace run by Jeremy, a one Michelin star chef, paired this wine with his creamy and yummy pumpkin soup. First time I had a Chablis paired up with a pumpkin soup! Turned out to be working very well!
Surprised 2016 Chablis was as fruity as 2015, and shake away the skinny and lean image. I find that the pairing worked because of the fatness of this Chablis and the creaminess of the soup. Excellent pairing!
