2016 Domaine Remi Jalliet Clos dEspinous
UNDER MY RADAR
I must admit I hardly had any wines from Languedoc region, this one was worth my recommendation for daily drinking. Surprisingly approachable at such young age, the chef made a duck confit to go with this wine. A bit too sweet initially, but once the duck fat came into play, the combination gel well, even the finishing was extended. Quite a unique blend of Chenancon, Syrah and Grenache.
