2016 Jean Philippe Fichet Marchand Bourgone Chardonnay
UNKNOWN PRODUCER 1
Jean Philippe Marchand is a producer that I am not familiar with, so I was keen to give it a try and see if I can find another quality Burgundy producer.
As this was only a Bourgogne level wine, I was not expecting much. The nose was plain with lemon, that turned into bitter lemon skin and some butter. The palate wasn't any better as it was too acidic, bitter and diluted. Vintage might be in play as 2016 didn't give Burgundy great weather, thus the diluted fruit.
