The saying first impressions last rings true with this wine. On the first sip was a scale breaking sourness and sharpness, which gave a really bad impression on my palate. Even though it mellowed down, it couldn't salvage my impression on it.
The nose was definitely better than the palate as it showed some sweet red fruits of cherry and raspberry, with slight varnish and spice. The palate could possibly be because of the wine being too young. Too bad!
