Was at a Bordeaux En Primeur 2016 yesterday, excited to report my findings. Bear in mind these wines are still 15 months away from being bottled, so you need to have a bit of imagination and past Bordeaux drinking experience towards the content.
This St Emilion wine was a fruit wine. Despite the nose that's very muted & slightly minty, the body was not the silent type; extreme in all aspects, be it readiness, fruits. This wine was a hunk on fruits, so jam packed with fruits. Balanced.
