2016 Lima Valley Selection Classic Red
BLACKBERRY
I had a glass to decide what grapes went into this wine, was a bit puzzled with the grape varietals, was pretty sure it was Merlot dominated grapes, and something else, as the roundness was certainly Merlot, while the slightly green and deep violet taste I was thinking more like a Cabernet Franc, but I was totally shocked to find out that this wine was blended with blackberries! A tad simple. Never came across such unique blend but quite successful in winning the audiences. Good effort.
