2016 Matua Sauvignon Blanc Lands & Legends
LIME OVER LEMON
There are normally two distinct flavors with Sauvignon Blanc, primarily lime or lemon. This Kiwi wine tends towards lime more than lemon which is quite surprising for me, as most Sauvignon Blanc are predominately lemon style.
Nice balance of fruits and acidity. Easy to drink, I char grilled a few squids with lemon and olive oil, was a perfect match.
