I don’t often drink a Kabinett, but I was surprised how similar it was to Alsace wine style, not surprisingly, Alsace inherited the Germans winemaking techniques.
Totally dominated by tropical fruits on the palate. Lychee was obvious, but the most prominent was the pineapple, as if it was freshly cut, you know how your tongue feels when you get a pineapple cut on the tongue? This was exactly how it felt like! Nice balance although the weakness was the finishing was somehow short.
