2017 Johann Michel Cornas
This is quite an acceptable Northern Rhone wine. I decanted it for 1.5 hours before drinking it. Bouquet of very light floral notes, almost transparent. Content has quite a fair amount of oak, masking the sharp and acidic fruits that’s hiding behind the oak flavor. The tannins are quite silky, although unresolved still. This probably can age a couple of years to get some improvements.
