Rum, made mainly from sugar canes or molesses, was always associated with Caribbeans or the West Indies, and always with pirates and navy. The truth is that, it also deserved to be appreciated.
This was aged in cherry oak, thus producing some unique bouquet of coffee and apricot, strange combination. Palate wise, it was sweet and smooth, with a slight kick towards the finishing. At 40% abv, it didn’t feel like overwhelming alcohol, good finishing with cherries and fruits.
