2019 Aegerter Beaune Premier Cru Les Greves

Les Greves in Beaune is considered one of the best terroir in the commune. The central section of Les Greves is a very famous plot known as Vigne d’Enfant Jesus, owned exclusively by Bouchard, produced the stunning Vigne de l’Enfant Jesus wine, a very structural and long aging potential wine. As such, this commune’s wine quality is definitely good. Bouquet is very enjoyable with floral fragrance with a hint of violets and ripe cranberries. Mouthfeel is stunning, the most outstanding character as compared to 2018 vintage is the stunning refinement of its finesse, this extraordinary finesse gives me a feeling that I’m wearing a Zegna suit, ultra-elegant and really upmarket. It seems that Paul’s winemaking skill is definitely getting better, as I can see the huge improvements compared to past vintages!
