2019 Clavelier Hautes Cotes de Nuits Bourgogne Rouge Les Regalieres

Heard so much about the hype of 2019 vintage for red burgundies from various UK merchants, thus this is my first taste of the 2019 Pinot Noir. Best way is to taste it from the ground up, thus grapes sourced around Cotes de Nuits will give me a feel of how this vintage will turn out. Bouquet was with some unripe cherries and oak barrel. Content is where the true color is; fruits are pretty forward and ripe, although still very young and dry, and tannins are lurking around too much. I must confess quality is decent, and so will the overall 2019 quality for Pinot Noir from burgundy, this bottle requires another 2 or 3 years of cellaring to mellow down a bit to be more drinkable.
