2019 Lafont Menaut Pessac Leognan Rouge
Chateau Lafont Menaut is located in Pessac-Leognan, in the Graves region of Bordeaux. They don’t have large production for it’s red, only 6,000+ cases made for 2019. Possessing very Graves like character, the content was very lively and engaging, almost like freshly squeezed berries juice oozing out from the glass, one can easily follow the lively beat of the wine to some Jazz dance move. The style of the wine reminds me a lot about Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte which was also known to be very lively and engaging. Made for early consumption and not meant for aging, pop and pour!
