2020 Arnaud Baillot Pommard
Pommard is a village in the Cote de Beaune subregion of Burgundy famous for producing powerful and richly flavoured red wines made of Pinot Noir. As a young winemaker, Arnaud is a hands-on person, from selecting the origin of the grapes, to overlooking the winemaking process, up to choosing the type of barrels and ageing time for their wines, you can be assured Arnaud puts in his very best efforts to take care of his wines. The grape is sourced from the village of Pommard, employed traditional fermentation and aged in Burgundy oak with 30% new oak for 12 months. The result is a powerful bouquet of black cherry and spice. Palate wise the wine possesses firmness and bold texture, with a tinch of greenness. A decent wine for people who loves to explore the Pommard wine style.
