2020 Domaine Kientzler Gewurztraminer Without SO2
If you are SO2 sensitive, this wine will suite you well. Surprisingly, without the addition of SO2, this Gewurztraminer did not taste aged or reaching it’s end of life, a wild guess was that probably SO2 did not have a big impact on Gewurztraminer. The bouquet was very expressive of a typical Gewurztraminer, with a field of ripe pineapple blossom. Content was just as predictable; fresh pineapples mingled with ripe ones. Although the bouquet and taste was singular, it really exemplify Gewurztraminer’s character to the fullest extent.
