2020 Le Clos du Caillou Le Bouquet des Garrigues Cotes Du Rhone
A wine with multiple blends consisting of roughly 40% Clairette, 30% White Grenache, 15% Viognier and 15% Roussanne, this white offers a pretty stunning quality despite the price. Vines of averaging 45 years of age, pretty good for a fairly priced wine. Bouquet of heavy pomelo skins, juicy peach, and fresh citrus notes. Body has a strong structural pomelo skin taste albeit in a very chewy and pleasurable approach. I do find the wine very tasty and with deep penetrating flavour, with multiple layers of fruit complexity.
