2020 Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte Pessac Leognan
We have been buying this wine (previously labelled as Le Petit Haut Lafitte) since 2009 without fail, as we believe it’s one of the best made second wines amongst the Grand Cru Classe classification. This wine is made predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark cherry and ripe black cherry fruits dominated the aroma. The lush and velvety texture has been a signature of this second wine, always very seductive, and hugely enjoyable. If you want to taste a Bordeaux without spending a fortune, I will highly recommend you to purchase this bottle and enjoy it.
