I would like to fit this CDP blanc a style in between a Bordeaux Blanc and Burgundy Blanc. In fact, it has the beauty of both worlds; On one hand, there is a bouquet of ripe lemon skin, lemon balm and some verbena which reminds me of Bordeaux Blanc aromas; On the other hand, the content is as elegant as premier burgundies, soft and feminine style with fresh and juicy pear, and a touch of honey alongside. Composed of 55% Grenanche blanc, 20% Clairette, 10% Bourboulenc, 10% Roussanne and 5% Picpoul, the head spinning blend of multiple grape varietals gave this wine good complexity, not to be missed, highly recommended!
